Crasner Capital Has Its Eyes Set on Latin America

By 3rd November 2016Uncategorised

Latin America is undergoing a transformational change both on a macro and political level. Two examples are Colombia and Peru: Colombia is negotiating the peace treaty with FARC, which led to the Nobel Peace Prize for Juan Manuel Santos, and Peru elected recently Pedro Pablo Kuczynski as its new President, bringing more liberal governance to a country ruled by many leftist regimes in the past. Crasner Capital is convinced of the many M&A opportunities in the region and has therefore mandated its Vice President, Christophe Michotte * , to lead the origination efforts within the region. This move is in conjunction with our push into South-East Asia and underlines Crasner Capital’s ambition to be a global emerging markets boutique. Nick Crasner commented: “A new wave of corporates requiring capital is driving deal making in LatAm and that is why we need to be present in the region.” A representative office will be launched in 2017 with its location to be confirmed.

Crasner Capital is a widely recognized pre-eminent emerging markets investment banking boutique with deep and unrivalled knowledge of Africa, Asia and Latin America and are the “go-to” adviser for mid-market transactions in these markets.
