Crasner Capital is honored to have been invited to attend a British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) event last week, titled ‘First Time Fundraising’ and hosted at the London office of international law firm, Debevoise & Plimpton.

The event created an platform for General Partners (GP’s) and Limited Partners (LP’s) to network, learn and exchange ideas between themselves and with bankers, placement agents, lawyers and other professionals.

Crasner Capital took part in this insightful event from two perspectives:

1) On behalf of Crasner Capital’s venture capital and private equity client base, who are actively raising capital for their Emerging Market funds; and

2) From the perspective of Crasner Ventures, our venture capital investment vehicle, which invests as an LP, provides debt off the Crasner balance sheet and also invests directly into exciting growth companies in a variety of sectors.

The workshop discussed key aspects of fundraising, including deal structuring and investment returns, management entity structures, regulation and carried interest, co-investment schemes and much more.

The event had insightful input from the British Business Bank, Apis Partners, Hambro Perks, Crane Venture Partners, WestBridge LLP, TenX Health, and Hermes GPE
